WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

October 27th, 2015 at 2:00am

As fall approaches, dressing for moody weather gets more and more tough. Although we all love fall fashion, transitioning can be quite a trick. This look is for the sunny afternoons when the weather cannot seem to make its mind up here in the south.

To ensure this Fashionista isn’t too hot or too cold, she left the jacket at home and paired thick, leather patterned leggings with a loose thin cotton top instead. And I must say the shirt is very appropriate for the occasion.

She is also sporting a new pair of booties. These shoes are perfect for cold weather and will keep your feet warm. I love that she chose these because they can be dressed up or down, creating several fashionable looks.

To accessorize this look, the Fashionista paired two simple, but classy pieces of jewelry. The first is a short multi-chained gold necklace with pearls. This piece gives the outfit an antique look. The second is an Irish claddagh ring, which can be worn all the time.

To finish this look off she added a black felt hat that is great for every season of the year and goes with almost any look. Finally, a cross-body classic kate spade bag.

One Simple Change: To transition this look from day to night, and adapt to the colder weather, you can take off the hat and add a simple leather jacket for a night on the town.
