Hello Fashionistas/os! One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is to research the latest fashion shows and try translating what I see on the runway into my own personal style. Recently, I have been digging up past runway shows that have already gone through the spring season, trying to cultivate that into the winter season. I think it is always really cool when a fashion trend can be worn all year.

Burberry’s spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection was all about mixing and matching different style trends. For example, Christopher Bailey showcased how it was okay to mix and match casual with formal by dressing his models in denim jackets with sheer dresses. During the making of this collection, he was really inspired by a sense of freedom and translated this inspiration into putting sneakers on the models.

With this particular collection, I loved the combination of just a basic denim jacket styled with a pair of sneakers. This is a trend that can really be showcased during the spring and winter season, and it is also a popular style that has definitely found its place in street fashion. Just as Burberry showed, it is a style that can be dressed up or down. For example, I took a denim jacket and styled it with my favorite adidas sneakers and kate spade black purse. It is a very fashionable look, but it also looks effortless at the same time, and I love that about this look. My own fashion style can be described as minimalistic, and I love the simplicity and comfort of this outfit.
