STYLE GURU STYLE: Sweater Weather

Hey Fashionistas and happy November! While I love Halloween and the beginning of fall, I am super excited we are approaching Thanksgiving and eventually, colder weather! If you’re anything like me, winter is a fairly easy time for style. Typically, I can throw a fashionable outfit together using a few simple pieces.

In the fall or winter time, there are three things I cannot live without. First, oversized sweaters! Not only are oversized sweaters extremely comfortable and warm, but they are the one piece of clothing that looks great on anyone that wears it! Also, they are super easy to accessorize, which brings me to my second necessity for cold weather—scarves. I like to stick with scarves that tend to be neutral colors such as black, white or brown because they match most of my clothing. With almost any look in the colder weather, I can add a scarf and it will instantly add a cuter touch to my outfit for the day. Boots are another part of my winter wardrobe that I really don’t know what I would do without! Ranging from booties to taller boots, these are my favorite kinds of footwear for fall and winter. I love the look of boots and this weather is the only time I can wear them without getting too warm.

I hope this look gives you some inspiration for the upcoming colder temperatures. It can be hard to stay warm on campus, but this look never fails to keep me snug in the chilly weather. You can probably catch me on campus this semester with different variations of outfits using my go-to winter necessities. Now, time to go blast some Christmas music to go along with this cozy look.
