Gym attire or sporty looks are taking over the world of fashion. Your favorite Nike leggings are no longer confined between the walls of training facilities or your home, instead gym looks are starting a revolutionary trend I like to call “Sporty-Chic”. Whether it’s pairing your Nike trainers with your favorite boyfriend jeans or throwing on a pair of joggers, these looks have revolutionized the way the world looks at gym wear.
My look was inspired by adidas by Stella McCartney spring ready-to-wear collection, a look that transforms sporty looks into streetwear styles. For my outfit, I decided to throw on an OBEY graphic T-shirt and my favorite pair of velvet joggers that I seem to be wearing more and more as the summer months begin to approach. Joggers are a staple piece of clothing that can be dressed up, dressed down or occasionally worn to bed on those lazy nights where you don’t feel like changing out of your clothes. If you are looking for versatility, then joggers are the way to go.
Sporty looks tend to be very relaxed and simple when it comes to the accessory department. Keeping that in mind, I decided to keep things simple with very little to no jewelry, except for a funky pair of sunglasses to keep the sun out of my face. To tie the whole sporty look together, I put on a pair of black Nike trainers.
