STYLE GURU STYLE: Rock with Layers at School

After a spring break to bring up motivations in such a mundane life with only classes and homework, I decided to try on a totally different outfit from by my style. Unfortunately, my budget did not allow me to update a new style by going shopping; however, it was an incredible chance for creatively mixing and matching old items in my closet together and creating a brand new outfit. The weather was so cold that I had to put on a turtleneck sweater, which matches to a gloomy atmosphere on that day. Classic styles are always my tunes. Moreover, I love mixing some of my favorite items with another piece of clothes from a different trend. As a result, I decided to combine my classy T-shirt with an off-the-shoulder shirt. The fun fact was that I changed the back side of this shirt to the front side. That turn made the outfit look different and impressive. In fact, a V-neck shape of the shirt’s backside aesthetically enhances my shoulder that looks skinny and attractive.

Moreover, the second important tip for trying something new is pairing them with simple items such as a pair of skinny black jeans, which is an essential item in my closet, a pair of round earrings, and a delicate watch or a shining bracelet. These small things seem to be unimportant but necessary to balance out the tricky combination of shapes and materials at the top. Last but not least, I decided to choose my brown leather sandal, which was compatible with a blue pigment of my shirt.

My college life would be terribly boring if I did not try something beyond conventions and be creative. Additionally, I also encourage you all to opt out, search for different trends of fashion, and never stick to traditional thoughts in your life. You’ll find many options and opportunities to work on in your fashion future!
