STYLE GURU STYLE: Pretty in Pink

It’s 7 p.m. and getting to the point where you should probably start figuring out your outfit for the night. You’re struggling. Nothing in your closet seems cute enough to make a lasting impression and warm enough to keep you cozy in these new temperatures. Ugh. You should probably just stay in right? NO! I’m here to tell you that you can and WILL look your best this upcoming fall. In order to do this we are going to aim for these three words: warmth, comfort and style.

Who doesn’t love a big oversized sweater? Let’s be real, everyone loves oversized sweaters. So what better way to rock the oversized sweater look than turning to sweater dresses? This sweater dress from Tobi knocks off all three items on our list. It’s as cosy as that oversized sweater you wear around the house all too much and it’s as comfy as that same sweater, all with the perfect amount of style needed to make a lasting impression out on the town. I personally love this dress in light pink because it brings out my left over summer tan. But if pink isn’t your style, the dress is also available in navy or plum.

Now let’s take a look at footwear. The fall temperatures are always fluctuating so you want to have shoes prepared for whatever the day’s weather might bring. If it’s not too chilly, opt for espadrilles like this or sandals to create a simple boho look. If it’s too chilly for either try out over the knee boots to keep you nice and warm. I love these patent pink espadrilles because they can be an easy day look and fun for a night out.

So next time the clock strikes 7:00 p.m. and the temperature says under 60, don’t fear! Simply turn to your favorite sweater dress to keep you looking your best.
