STYLE GURU STYLE: From Runway To Gameday

Hello all, this months post is all about my personal style this fall. This outfit’s inspiration comes from Junya Watanabe’s ready-to-wear collection for fall 2015. His unique collection is different from most designers. He focuses on one main piece with most of his looks. In this particular look he uses a brown shawl with openings throughout it. Underneath, he added a simple all-white look in order to make the shawl the main staple of this outfit.

To incorporate Junya Watanabe’s look into my style I wore a solid colored orange romper with a brown, long-sleeved cardigan (with material similar to what this model is wearing). I also added my own touch by adding my favorite fall hat and layered accessories. I personally love this cardigan at this time of year when it’s not very cold, but also not too hot. This cardigan has been a great summer/fall transitioning piece.

If any of you are like me you love rompers. For me rompers are something that can be worn any time of year and can be layered to transition to any season.

This look is one that I wore for a football game-day at my school, Clemson University. For this particular outfit I wore an orange solid colored romper and paired my favorite accessories, which include a long gold necklace that is very unique with a grenade pin at the end and a dainty short necklace. For the shoes I wore a pair of western booties that can be worn in the summer, fall, and winter. Finally, I added a brown floppy hat that double tasks by blocking out the shade and finishing this stylish look.

Get My Look: 1. Long necklace. 2. Dainty necklace. 3. Floppy hat. 4.The booties.
