STYLE GURU STYLE: Fierce And Furry

My personal style changes quicker than I can define it, but there are a few things that stay very consistent. I will always love pairing pieces that may not traditionally go together, for example fun patterns, bold accessories and layered looks. This outfit is representative of all of those things. I gathered inspiration for this systematic mis-matching from the Prada fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection. This collection features a variety of colors, patterns, silhouettes and, of course, furry outerwear details.

My long sleeved, floral romper is one of my favorite things to wear on nights out during the earlier spring months. The dark colors and long sleeves make it weather appropriate, while the shorter length adds a fun, playful element. Recently, I’ve been all about tights. If you have a romper or a pair of soft shorts that you’re dying to wear even though it’s not quite warm enough to go out with bare legs, simply throw a pair of tights on under them.

One of my wardrobe staples are my knee-high, wedged boots. They’re perfect for anything from a night on the town to a more casual day at the office. Every girl loves how her legs look in heels, and the extra height isn’t bad either, but a few hours into wearing them you will most likely end up regretting your choice in footwear. This is why the wedge is my secret weapon; wedges are cute and they won’t leave you feeling like your feet are broken for hours after you take your shoes off. So go on, dance the night away you tall drink of water!

The one thing that I never feel complete without is my arm party. From the time I was little I loved the look of stacked bracelets, but I’ve since graduated from Livestrong bands. You can never go wrong with Alex & Ani bangles and a cute, classic watch. Don’t ever be afraid to accessorize!

Get My Look: 1. A floral printed romper with long sleeves. 2. A fun, faux fur vest. 3. A cute wedged boot.
