The spring season is finally in full swing, and Style Gurus everywhere are ready to break out their favorite spring pieces for the warmer weather. With so much inspiration to draw from and all of the spring 2016 collections, you can’t go wrong.
This season, I’m drawing inspiration from Gucci’s spring 2016 ready-to-wear line. The line is both gothic and vintage-inspired, creating a beautiful harmony and juxtaposition that you can’t find in any other line this season. From sweet florals to sparkling satin, Gucci has it all elegantly placed in this season’s collection. While the pieces are beautiful, they are both a work of art and a versatile line all at once. You cannot help but be in awe of the structured jackets and flowing skirts, impeccably made for Gucci’s runway.
Gucci’s line has made it possible to translate the runway to the city streets without having to break the bank. Going along with the current bomber jacket trend, I decided to draw inspiration from Gucci with this beautiful floral bomber. The one I am wearing is perfect for the cool spring temperatures. I love to wear mine with a simple T-shirt and jeans to spice it up a bit, or pair it with boyfriend jeans and a great pair of heels to up the style factor. Either way, this Gucci-inspired jacket is the one item I can’t live without this season!
