STYLE GURU STYLE: California Dreamin' in Overalls

As I type this, I officially have a little over one week left of college. It is crazy to think in a few weeks I’ll be moving out to California to pursue my dreams of becoming a stylist in Los Angeles. College has been an amazing and crazy adventure and there’s nowhere else I would rather be graduating from than The Florida State University.

If I have learned anything from college, it’s to dress for the occasion. And more often than not, you need to dress comfy enough to make it to class as a second semester Senior (Senioritis is real my friends). So why not throw on some oversized overalls (seen ALL over Spring 2016 runways) and skip to your last week of classes ever!

My fashion has definitely changed over the past four years but something that has always stuck with me is my love for overalls. Short, long, denim, rayon, the list is endless. Chloé spring 2016 runway show featured a pair of garnet, oversized overalls in the ready-to-wear collection almost identical to mine. These American Apparel overalls are my pride and joy and can be worn to class, run errands or go out to dinner. They have a little spandex in them which is perfect because no one wants crunchy denim overalls you can’t even bend your knees in. Los Angeles is the denim capital of the U.S. so everyone sports jeans in every shade all over the state. They’re easy to throw on with a V-neck and are a closet staple.

Get My Look: 1. Some awesome overalls 2. American Apparel crop top 3. Choker (I made with suede from Michael’s) 4. Round sunnies
