STYLE GURU STYLE: Bouquet Of Illusions

The spring 2015 ready-to-wear Max Mara collection is simply amazing. The Max Mara collection was full of illusions. Looking at the majority of the pieces from afar the pattern seems to be a black and white polka-dot fabric, but that is not the case. It’s made up of fabric that is made up of tiny floral décor. At least one piece of each ensemble has that eye-catching fabric. It definitely caught my eye. This line is unique and proof that florals in the spring can be innovative and refreshing! Who knew rocking head to toe florals could be so tastefully done?

I saw this dress on the amazing online store, NASTY GAL, and surprisingly knew I had to have it! I say surprisingly because this dress represents everything that I never wear. I rarely ever wear three things: color, patterns and dresses. This dress knocks out all three of those elements with one fashionable stone. I chose to wear this micro floral print dress, which was a bit too girly for me. Whenever I am feeling a little too girly, I add some pieces here and there to edge the outfit up a bit. I added my favorite pair of knee-high combat boots and topped it off with a pair of cat eye sunnies.

This spring 2015 show has inspired me to step outside the box, try new things and to venture outside the typical floral pattern. This pattern mixes it up a bit and makes a statement on its own.

Get My Look: 1. A micro floral dress. 2. A pair of edgy boots. 3. The sassiest cat-eye sunglasses.
