STYLE GURU STYLE: Boho Babe

Effortless, natural, radiant, simple and pretty. These are all words that come to mind when I envision my ideal outfit. Sure, getting dolled up with my girlfriends from time to time is a delicious treat, but wearing little make up and slipping on something I feel comfortable in is when I feel at my best. Luckily for me, there was a recent runway show that featured a collection right up my alley. The Chloé spring 2015 ready-to-wear runway show is one all of my fellow hippie-boho lovers wouldn’t want to miss! Clare Waight Keller, the creative director for Chloé, managed to incorporate all things boho-chic in preparation for music festivals, concerts and all other free-spirited things for the upcoming spring season. From the natural-looking makeup dabbed on the fresh-faced models, the delicate laced fabric, thin spaghetti straps and strappy gladiator sandals, this collection is for everyone’s inner hippie.

Inspired by Keller’s wispy fabrics and intricate detailing, I scavenged for a piece that would showcase my own inner bohemian goddess. Believe it or not this shirt was my mother’s from high school! I was drawn to the loose and drapey fit of the sleeves as well as the lace detailing. As seen in many of the pieces in the Chloé collection, the loose fit style of the shirt caused the material to flow in the wind as I walked, creating a very natural and bohemian vibe. To give my outfit an extra pop against the off-white shirt, I opted for some eye-catching jewelry. For rings I chose a rose-gold piece in the shape of an arrow purchased from Juicy Couture. On my middle finger rests a ring with a pop of turquoise.

Featured on my wrist is one of my favorite bracelets of all time from the chloe + isabel jewelry line. The woven mint thread laced around the light peach crystal makes the bracelet very unique and versatile. The iridescent gold and peach tones in the crystal gives my outfit the extra radiance and glow every hippie princess needs to complete her look.

For final touches, I placed a floppy hat on my beach waved hair and grabbed a small satchel as seen in the collection. Finally, I laced up my own personal pair of strappy sandals as featured on all of the natural beauties in Keller’s runway show.

Get My Look: 1. A laced long sleeve shirt. 2. A statement jewelry piece from chloe + isabel. 3. Lace-up gladiator sandals.
