I’ve always been a bit of a hippie chick. This chick turned chic when I discovered my very first pair of bellbottom jeans when I was no more than six years old. Bohemian street style is something that has always called to me, hence why “boho chic” is my go-to wardrobe. Naturally, when H&M launched their Coachella collection in perfect harmony with festival season, I was on it like white on rice.

For this article, I wore a fringed lace-knit cardigan paired with high-waisted jean shorts, a colorful knitted clutch, chunky turquoise stone rings, an earthy geo elephant watch, a patterned halter top and rose gold cork wedge sandals that channel my inner free-spirited flower child.

I’m not going to lie to you, standing at 5 feet 10 inches can definitely make you feel reluctant to pop on heels and amp up your height. However, these sandals can easily be dressed up or down and are beyond comfortable. Thanks to the rose gold trend, which I believe is a color that can be dressed up or down with almost anything, you can add this warm glow to your upcoming fall wardrobe.

Halters to me are an exotic step up from a simple tank top because of the straps knotted behind the neck and back. This gives your shoulders and upper back some serious bonding time with the sun on a hot summer day, letting you effortlessly work on your tan.

Statement jewelry is also something I’ve always admired, and dipping my fingers into a pile of chunky rings instantly makes me feel fabulous. Running late to class and need to play up a simple white shirt? Just flash your classmates bold, colorful rings and you will always feel like a Fashionista!

Although I may not be a true gypsy, I try to embody her free spirit and zest for life in my day-to-day wardrobe. Whether you’re rocking a boho virtuoso or looking chic during the week, you can guarantee I’ll stop you and ask where you got your fringe!
