Hello fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Sophia and it’s hard to believe that this is the start of my third semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. In addition to writing for the site as a Style Guru, I am also an editorial intern.
Currently, I’m headed back to beautiful Lexington, Virginia to begin my sophomore year at Washington and Lee University where I am studying History and Spanish. I am also a member of the swim team. In my free time, one can find me poring over fashion magazines. My favorites include Elle, Vogue and Glamour.
I am so excited to get back on campus and find more fabulous Fashionistas/os to feature in my posts! I’m really loving some of the trends for fall, especially the ’70s-inspired silhouettes and the revival of suede and denim skirts.
I like to refer to my personal style as classic with a twist. I love taking classic staple pieces and mixing them up with unique patterns, textures and colors. I enjoy trying new trends and taking risks. However, I am completely consistent in my love of all things leopard print and rose gold. I see fashion as a form of artistic expression and love to have fun with it!
Needles to say, I am so looking forward to keeping you all updated on the greatest fashion finds here in Lexington and shining a spotlight on this campus’ distinct sense of style. Let’s have our most stylish year yet, Fashionistas and Fashionistos!
