STYLE GURU BIO: Samara Halperin

Hey there, Fashionistas! As a first time blogger for CollegeFashionista, I couldn’t be more excited to get started showing off some of the great styles on your campus. Becoming a part of CollegeFashionista has given me an opportunity to learn to analyze fashion through my writing as well as develop a better understanding of popular styles and trends. It has enhanced my photography skills, writing skills and ability to approach people. Check in with me throughout the summer to get the latest tips and tricks for summer fashion on your campus. You may even be the next person I come up to on campus!

Although it is always hot in Florida, the summer is especially a time to enhance your warm weather style, and I hope to help you with that with my articles throughout this summer. Like as easy as it is to wear black every day, choosing a brighter color would be less hot and be a better match for the season. As much as I adore keeping my hair down throughout the year, knowing fashionable ways to keep your hair off your shoulders this summer is a must. In my outfit, you will notice jean shorts. These are very simple and common for warm weather and can be dressed up or down. My flowy, tie-dye shirt is comfortable to move around in. Wedges dress up any casual outfit and add some height to those of us on the shorter side. I definitely recommend investing in a pair, or two or three.
