Hello, hello! My name is Paige Agustsson and I am a sophomore at Iowa State University studying marketing and apparel merchandising. I aspire to work as a fashion marketer and merchandiser in my future. I’m a very excited, eager and new Style Guru! I can’t wait to see where this semester with CollegeFashionista will take me!
My love for fashion began at a young age and it had a lot to do with my mother’s love for shopping. I would find myself roaming the women’s section as an adolescent, while trying to style outfits for my mother. Not only was shopping one of my favorite hobbies but TLC’s show What Not To Wear and America’s Next Top Model were my go-to entertainment at that age. Still, I spend most of my free time roaming the aisles of my favorite stores and scrolling through Pinterest to admire fashion. I feel very fortunate to be able to pursue a degree, an internship and learn about what I love each and every day!
I would say that personally my style is normally chic, clean cut, with a hint of a bohemian edge. In this fun, summer look I paired an off-the-shoulder shirt and tucked them into my distressed cut-off denim shorts. These short represent my style and creativity because I bought them at the local thrift store for $2.99 and made them into my favorite pair! I also added some black chunky black wedges and my kate spade tote, which cleans up the look. Finally, I incorporated my favorite current trend with a layered, gold choker necklace.
Here’s to a fashionable semester of connecting, learning and a whole lot of opportunity. Thanks for reading!
