STYLE GURU BIO: Molly O'Toole

Hello, my Fashionista/Fashionisto friends! My name is Molly O’Toole, and I am a junior at James Madison University. I am a School of Media Arts and Design major with a concentration in Journalism and a minor in Theatre. This is my first semester working as a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista, and I couldn’t be more excited!

A little about me: I love fashion, traveling and anything to do with the television show Friends! Since I was a little girl, I have always been interested in fashion and entertainment. I grew up watching shows like America’s Next Top Model and TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress (I love looking at wedding fashion!). Since being in college, I have followed CollegeFashionista every day to see what the fashion world is like at different universities!

Along with working with working with CollegeFashionista next semester, I will also be working for some of my other journalism jobs. I am currently a staff writer for The Breeze, James Madison University’s newspaper, The Tab JMU and Pink Pangea.

A fun fact about me: I am studying abroad in London next semester! I am so excited to bring London fashion to CollegeFashionista and be able to learn more about international fashion. Most of my posts will consist of London street style and university fashion. I am also hoping to travel to cities in France, Scotland and Ireland, and see different fashions from around the world.

My personal style is comfy and casual. My motto is that as long as you like it, you can rock it! Sweater weather is my favorite time of the year because I love wearing cute, but simple, sweaters and matching them with different accessories and an awesome pair of boots. I am also big on print dresses and a pair of cute heels! One of my favorite outfits to wear is my green print dress/ I decided to feature black tights and a pair of heels to give the outfit a classier feel.

It has taken me a while to figure out my personal style and I am definitely still learning! I am hoping to learn and expand my style while studying abroad, and hope to show you some amazing style along the way!
