My name is Meghan Dare and I am so excited to be joining the Style Guru Gang again this semester! I am just starting my junior year at Syracuse University where I study retail and marketing management. I hope one day to pursue a career in wholesale at a major label.
Being a Style Guru has been one of my absolute favorite parts of my college experience. It is such a fun and creative way to find new inspiration around campus and share it with all of you! Syracuse is full of trendsetters and fashion inspiration, and I am proud that I get to share my amazing classmates’ style with you all!
I would describe my style as feminine. I love mixing classic silhouettes with the current trends. For inspiration, I always look to some of my favorite brands including Valentino, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta and DVF. Some of my favorite places to shop include Zara, Urban Outfitters and H&M. If you were to look in my closet, you would see a TON of neutral tones, black, grey, blue and white (that’s pretty much it). My style is still constantly evolving, and my time as a Style Guru these last three semesters has helped it grow even more!
So for my outfit in today’s post, I am wearing this unique romper/dress piece from Zara that I got this summer. I am also wearing one of m favorite pieces of the moment, my white lace choker. I picked up a bunch of these at a local boutique and love the intricacy of the lace. I pair the look with some simple gold rings and bracelets, and my white slide sandals.
