STYLE GURU BIO: Jessica Dzuranyi

Hey, everyone! I’m Jessie, a junior attending San Francisco State University in–you guessed it—wonderful San Francisco. This is my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, and I look forward to sharing the unique styles I find in this great city with you all. I’m studying business marketing and am hoping to end up with a career in the fashion world one day. In addition to my internship here, I work two jobs and attend school full-time; as you can see, I’m a pretty busy girl, and I’m always looking for more opportunities to stay busy.

If one were to open up my tiny San Francisco closet, they would see a ton of neutral colors and versatile pieces. I love the look of a classic jean with rips styled with simple black ankle booties–and if you know anything about me, you know that I’m absolutely obsessed with booties. I recently picked up the black pair I’m wearing by Steve Madden because I just couldn’t resist, even though it’s my eighth pair. This past summer I also developed a love for bodysuits; they’re so easy to style! I only ever wear high-rise or mid-rise jeans, so bodysuits eliminate the difficult task of tucking a shirt in without any lumps showing.

Living in windy San Francisco means layering, and boy do I layer. I easily own 20 coats and jackets, and I’m always on the hunt for more. It’s safe to say that my love for boots and coats means that I could never live in a hot climate; I’d melt. This semester, I’ll be on the lookout for some creatively layered looks, and don’t be surprised if a big, winter coat catches my eye.

Here’s to a RAD fall semester filled with good grades and stylish outfits!
