Happy spring semester! Although, it doesn’t really feel very springy in Lincoln. I’m still attempting to cover every inch of my body in order to prevent wind burn.

This semester, I’m excited to be joining many of my fellow Style Gurus as well as being a part of CollegeFashionista’s editorial society and social media society. This spring is going to be a busy one!

Amongst all of the chaos currently going on in my life, I find inspiration in my own outfits and my fellow classmates’ style. It’s refreshing to see well-dressed individuals on campus expressing themselves through their unique aesthetics.

My personal closet contains a magnitude of different styles. I’m always attempting to expand my horizons when it comes to growing my wardrobe. A year ago, I found myself buying lots of versatile basics and neutral colors. I found that my entire wardrobe was a little on the bland side, so now I’m gravitating towards staple pieces that will add interest to my closet.

I found this lovely trench coat that’s certainly classic and unique as well as an added interest piece to my closet. I really couldn’t pass it up. With this outfit, I wanted to channel my inner Kourtney Kardashian by pairing a sweatshirt dress with thigh-high boots. I love how comfy-chic this looks. It’s a perfect transition outfit for when winter starts to turn to spring. To tie it all together, I clasped on a velvet choker and slid on my gold-rimmed Quay Australia sunglasses.

I’m excited what new adventures and new styles 2017 will bring. Stay tuned for more posts from me this semester!
