STYLE GURU BIO: Cassidy Randall

Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Cassidy Randall and this is my first semester as a Style Guru. I am currently a rising sophomore at Boston University majoring in Public Relations. At school, I also serve as a board member and designer for FAB, Boston University’s premier fashion and retail association, allowing me to pursue my passion for fashion in Boston.

Fall is my absolute favorite season to dress for. We can still enjoy summer trends and styles, but also get the opportunity to incorporate new pieces for the changing weather. I believe that the best way to dress is to find pieces that can be used in a variety of different ways. If you start with fabulous basics, then you can’t go wrong dressing them up as trends come and go. My personal style consists of a lot of sweaters, skinny jeans and boots, as I tend to lean towards preppy looks.

As for my look here, rompers are among my favorite articles of clothing. Though this one does not go with my usual preppy theme, when I find a piece I love, I work it into my wardrobe. This ombré romper is versatile and comfortable and if you throw on a pair of tights it can be worn in colder weather.

The right accessories can make or break an outfit. At five feet and two inches, I love myself a good heel. Wedges give a boost without sacrificing comfort making them a must-have item for most of my outfits. A statement bracelet dresses any look up without much effort, and they can be found almost anywhere. Finally, I find headbands to be a fantastic accessories option. They can be styled with up-dos or simply added to a casual look.

I am so happy to be able to share my style with all of you. Fashion is a wonderful form of expression, and with college being a time of self-discovery, I have found campus to hold an incredible variety of styles which I look forward to exploring and sharing.
