Hi fellow college Fashionistas! I’m super excited to be a part of the Style Guru gang for this fall semester! Here’s a little bit to help you get to know more about me. Sadly, this is my last year at Providence College where I am studying marketing and economics. Though I am originally from Columbus, Ohio, I am a bit of a wanderer and over the last three years I have lived all over from Rome, Italy, Nantucket, Massachusetts, to New York City where I most recently lived this summer. My time spent traveling and getting to see so many different people and they way they dress themselves has only increased my love for fashion and my ever evolving personal style. Since I was little, I’ve always been really into fashion and beauty so I’m always keeping up with the latest trends, brands and happenings in the fashion industry. I love fashion because of how personal style represents yourself, what mood you’re in or how you carry yourself.
I would consider my style to be simple, boho, girly and usually pretty casual. I’m obsessed with sneakers and you can most often find me in a pair of Converse or Tretorns whether I’m headed to class or out with friends. I am always looking for new ways to wear the same thing and reinvent an entire look. My friends would probably say that you’ll most likely see me wearing some form of a romper on any given day. My favorite time of the year for outfits is definitely the fall season when you can layer almost anything but I absolutely love beachy, effortless summer looks. Though I spent my summer in the concrete jungle of New York City, I definitely dressed in boho beachy looks most often. I have an obsession with bags that I would say is somewhat similar to Carrie Bradshaw and her shoe collection. I am constantly finding new bags I love and think a good handbag the best way to complete or complement any outfit.
