Cheers to a third semester with CollegeFashionista! The end of my second year in university is quickly approaching just as the seasons seem to just be flying by. In my previous STYLE GURU BIO, I mentioned how I believe the University of California, San Diego is a very STEM-focused school which can make it hard for others to understand my interest in fashion and journalism. Although this is still true, I feel like I found my niche and plenty of others that share my same interests. I joined the staff of a fashion magazine on campus and we’re currently working towards publishing our first issue. I’ve become friends with some other fellow Style Gurus and shared why and how we’re embracing our love for all things fashion.
My second year of university has been absolutely great so far and I can’t wait to share more looks from San Diego with you all. But first, my look in this post has been my go-to ensemble recently. I paired a striped crop top with my favorite mom jeans. I wore my beige and black color-blocked ankle boots to polish up the look but added a pink bomber jacket for a fun pop of color.
I can’t wait for what this new semester with CollegeFashionista has in store for both me and you! Last semester, I was able to be a part of the Snapchat Takeover Party that featured Style Gurus from around the world. I snapped my heart out during my first day in Seattle, Washington.
