STYLE GURO BIO: Hannah Li

Hello, Fashionistas! My name is Hannah Li, a Fashion Design major at Pratt Institute, and I’m back for my second semester at CollegeFashionista. New York City is a haven for fashion lovers, especially those who are a bit more audacious and courageous with their style. It is so exciting to use fashion as a way of self-expressions and experimentation, and I love being inspired by others around me. I’m really looking forward to discovering all the new styles and reporting them back to you!

Here, I have worn an outfit that has become a second nature to me. It’s effortless and comfortable, without compromising style. Due to the cold weather, I have been protecting myself with a layer of cashmere sweater. This one I have one is super soft and cozy. I chose a pale pink color to differentiate from the black jacket and skirt. It also have some small twisted cable int he knit fabric, showing some faint texture.

As I have said before, comfort is important to me; that’s why I wore this midi length skirt. Its pleated black fabric keeps it from being boring, and the lace on the bottom brings in some delicacy to the boxy motorcycle leather jacket. I also chose some trusty ol’ black booties from Zara, which are guaranteed to provide comfort all day. Lastly, since my outfit is fairly simple, I used my purse to bring in some color. The leather purse is very effortless, and I love how the color block pairs with the black jacket.

I can tell it is going to be an amazing semester full of beautiful clothes and many unique ways of styling, and I hope you will be able to read my articles and be inspired by the fashion at Pratt Institute and Brooklyn as much as I have been.
