Hello internet! I’m Andrea and I’m a junior at Pennsylvania State University. I am majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Business. I bleed blue and white as my family is a Penn State family! Our campus is filled with beautiful sites and amazing people. Everyone wears a smile when they are in Happy Valley!
I like to keep myself very busy during the year by getting involved with as many things as possible. During my freshmen year, I joined a sorority, the Beta Mu chapter of Phi Mu. I also kept up with my athletic abilities by joining Penn State’s crew team. Other things I do include writing articles for an online company, working for my school’s newspaper and working on campus!
Fashion and makeup have been a passion of mine since I can remember. My array of makeup can be overwhelming to some, but I don’t think I have enough. I love keeping up with all the new trends and follow as many influencers as I can. I love finding people around town and on local streets who have such an amazing style. I take pieces from their outfits and try to incorporate it with my own style.
I don’t think I have a particular type of style. I love to dress up, but you’ll definitely catch me wearing leggings or comfy clothes most of the time. The color black speaks to me and I believe it makes everyone look slimmer. Black booties should be a staple in everyone’s collection—comfortable ones! Cute flowy tops make everything better and very easy to pair with anything in your collection.
Being inspired to evolve your style takes time and effort. Your style will forever change as new trends pop up here and there, but taking those trends and making them your own is what fashion is all about! I hope you can grab some inspiration from my posts. I’m excited to photograph people on my beautiful campus and learn new things along the way. My first semester as a Style Guru will be one to remember!
