STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Who’s Got Spirit?

Some people don’t think school spirit is cool, not I! I love college and can’t imagine studying anywhere other than the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. How can you beat a place that felt like home ever since you took your first tour? I embrace my love for my institution. If you love your school, why not encourage others to do the same?

A fashionable person does not have to own exclusive garments. It’s all about how you present yourself. This Fashionisto puts his own twist on a basic college boy outfit. The yellow letters on his gray, crewneck sweater really make a statement. It goes something like… “Say it loud! I’m a Spartan and I’m proud!” How can you go wrong with a good, old pair of khaki shorts? Neutral colors always complement each other well. Neon green socks make his simple Nike shoes seem all that much more fresh. Not to mention the camouflage hat. When the sun is beaming and you have just a couple minutes to get to your class on the other side of campus, a little shade might help.

The dog tags worn around the Fashionisto’s neck are actually authentic. He got them over the summer in training for the armed forces. What better way to convince your professor to let your tardiness slide? Everyone has a little soft spot for honorable aids that help the safety of our society. I say any service to preserve our lovely country earns you a little room for error, don’t you?

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “My style is an outlet for self-expression with consideration of comfortability.”
