STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Springin' Out of Winter

May 19th, 2015 at 2:00am

Are you having trouble of modifying from your winter clothing items? Trying to figure out the best ways to incorporate winter and spring attire? I know it’s hard. I have been having trouble as well. The Midwest is still shifting from the winter months into the wanted spring ones. We have been waiting for months for the weather we have now, but it’s still pretty chilly in the morning. How can one go about and prepare for this huge and wanted transition? Don’t worry, I found a Fashionista who has shown how to make the transition from winter into spring attire amazingly easy.

Everyone knows that crop tops are one of the biggest trends for a year-round look, which is why this Fashionista choose to add one to her look. Adding a crop of your choice you can make your look ready for the spring weather. However, since it’s a still a tad chilly, our Fashionista added a nice burgundy cardigan, which is super light, comfortable and oversized. She even placed a pair of leg warmers and combat boots giving her the perfect preparation feel of the combining weathers happening in the Midwest.

When transitioning from one season to the next, it can be tricky on what’s appropriate and what could possibly be too much. I love the transitions between winter and springs; it gives me the time to still rock a few layered looks.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Wear something you feel comfortable in. Dress for yourself, not others. Whatever you’re comfortable in. Embrace it.”
