If you didn’t know the groundhog didn’t see his shadow this year, which means spring is just around the corner. I can definitely sense a change because the frosty snow has transitioned into sopping rain. Some see rain as an obstacle when it comes to style, but never fear! There are so many amazing ways to style a pair of rain boots and a fun umbrella when the showers begin to fall.
Dressing for wet weather is no easy task, so I took to the streets in order to find a Fashionista who could give some advice on the subject. The Fashionista I saw was sporting some distressed jeans and Burberry rain boots. To accompany her look she added a light windbreaker jacket and a clear bubble umbrella. I thought this was the perfect outfit for those rainy days when you want to remain casual, but still cute.
Rain boots have been around forever but they will be trending come May. Just because it is a boot meant for certain weather doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. Find a pair that represents you and that can be paired with a multitude of your favorite outfits. Do not be afraid to pick a pair with a pattern or a bold color like bright pink or red. Style has no limits and not even the rain can stop it.
