In my opinion, stripes will never go out of style. I love this trend because there’s so much variability in how to pull it off. I’d say stripes are like snowflakes, no two are the same; but, we all know that isn’t true. There are so many different ways to rock the trend that it wouldn’t be plausible for two people to ever wear stripes the same way!
I am a big fan of subtle stripes, although I do enjoy pulling out the ‘Where’s Waldo?’ look for game days (go, Hoosiers!). When I think of this trend, the first thing that comes to mind is nautical navy and white stripes. My second thought is J.Crew because they always have the cutest striped shirts and sweaters! This classy cable sweater is the perfect embodiment of both of those thoughts. A striped sweater is the perfect way to take any simple outfit to the next level.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Blue is always an easy color to wear, but I think the coolest thing about this sweater is that it is almost a gradient of stripes. I think experimenting with gradients is always fun, so utilizing different shades of the same color in one outfit is a really easy way to stand out and take a unique approach to stripes!”
