It has been a bit dark and gray at Elon the past few days and I hate to admit it, but I’ve been wearing sweatshirts and leggings to class. I know, I know, but it is just so easy to throw them on when it is gross outside. This Fashionista knew how to deal with the bad weather and wear something comfortable but still trendy.
I spotted this Fashionista easily among the crowd of the legging-wearing students on campus, simply because her pants are so loud. The colors purple, red and blue are mixed throughout a floral print and stand out among the rest of the neutral colors in her outfit. The synched shape of the bottom of the pants allow for her strappy sandals to have their own spotlight. The crocheted texture of her cream colored sweater contrasts the texture of the soft pants, giving some more interest to this outfit. Try mixing and matching patterns and textures like this Fashionista did!
Wearing funky pants is always a fun way to create an interesting outfit. When most people want to spruce up an outfit they will wear some sort of a loud top or jewelry, but this Fashionista decided to take a different route. The best part about wearing pants like this Fashionista’s is that they are super lightweight. So the next time it rains on campus, pull out a pair of boho pants and you’ll be comfortable and trendy, too!
