STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Pieces Of The World

When it comes to outfit inspiration, where do you get it from? When people are asked this question, they typically have multiple common answers: Pinterest, Tumblr, fashion bloggers, etc. However, the real inspiration lies in the world around us. Traveling offers many opportunities to gain new inspiration. Whether it’s going to a local city or flying to another country, a new idea can stem from a person you see walk by to exploring an entirely different culture.

One popular style among the fashion world is the French girl style. The effortless, yet classy, appearance as though you simply threw an outfit together without looking like you tried too hard on the ensemble. I love thinking about this an inspiration to the outfits I put together when I’m on the go or traveling, because I want to look nice without the fuss.

That’s exactly what I thought of when I spotted this Fashionista! She is very inspired by the French and European fashions, and it’s very evident in her look. Her burgundy dress is super cute and versatile for all year-round. She knows how to layer for the cooler weather by adding tights, and a black and white striped sweater for a twist. Her shoes definitely have a European style to them, which she actually bought in Europe for a steal! She can easily take this look from day-to-night (and save on packing space for traveling) by adding a chic jacket, and heels for a fun and stylish night out!
