STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Oh, the Weather Outside Isn't Frightful

Oh, the weather outside ISN’T frightful…Wait, those aren’t the lyrics…

We’ve had quite the autumn weather here in the northern Kentucky area. When I say “quite the weather,” I mean that us Fashionistas in Kentucky haven’t locked up our strappy sandals and our light weight blouses. We’ve been pushing into the high 80s for the last couple of weeks. It’s safe to say that life is good in Kentucky! All of this good weather is going to come to an end eventually, so why not take advantage of the sun’s beautiful rays while we can?

This Fashionista is rocking a cutout long sleeve blouse with ripped darker wash skinny jeans that help to coordinate the look. She added to her look by putting on some black suede booties to help add to the tone of her look. Last, but not least, the black choker places the finishing touch to her edgy, independent November look.

It’s funny, because were you to flash back to a year ago, this Fashionista would definitely be wearing heavier clothing and probably a warm scarf or something. Northern Kentucky is famous for their “Indian Summers,” so it’s been nice to stretch out days of lightweight blouses and summer shoes.

One of the neatest things about living so close to the Cincinnati Metropolitan area is that there are so many beautiful sights to see. Cincinnati, Ohio, and Newport, Kentucky, feature lots of murals and paintings throughout the city. You can see a complete list of the Cincinnati Artworks’ inspired murals throughout my city! This plain teal building was the perfect background for her skin tone and it helped make the Fashionista’s blue eyes pop!

Cheers to spring temperatures in the middle of autumn!
