Hi there again Fashionistas/os! I hope everyone rang in the new year with great friends and had a fun time! I am excited to see what 2017 has to show us for new fashion trends. The outfit I focussed on is trendy, cute, fun, and helpful for those who, like me, have trouble matching a cute jean skirt with their outfit.
Like I said in my previous post, 2016 was all about bringing back old styles and making them more trendy. For example, a jean skirt. Jean skirts are back which is fun, but only when you know what to wear it with. In this outfit, the white and flowy blouse is a perfect match because it is nice and simple. The deep V-line matched with the gold necklace is also really nice. They both complement each other and work together.
Another important element to this outfit is the patterned tights. They give a little definition to the outfit and make it look really fun and edgy, especially with the little black boots she is wearing.
To go further and make the look more edgy and trendy, the lip color that she is wearing is really nice because it is dark, but not too dark. It adds a sense of playfulness to the outfit, which I love. You could also do a natural eye shadow with it if you wanted. I like to use Naked Smokey eye palette for a darker eye look because they have a lot of different options you can choose from to make your look.
