STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Jackets

Transitioning between seasons is always a challenge. The best pieces to wear during those times of the year are jackets. Jackets can provides that extra warmth you want while also adding an element of style to any outfit. They aren’t as bulky as a coat, so you can wear them all day or just while you are outside. Jackets are super versatile and can really complement any outfit nicely whether through color, silhouette or fabric.

The Fashionista’s olive quilted jacket with black piping is a great transition piece. Typically, quilted jackets are thicker and seen more in the winter. However, incorporating the jacket into a springtime look adds a nice twist. Layered underneath the jacket is a tan sweater.
