STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Going Green

The ups and downs of springtime temperatures always have me scrambling for what to wear in the morning. I mean honestly, one day it’s bright and warm while the next day is windy and bitter, it’s a serious struggle. It’s easy to notice that people are simply feeling better as the weather shifts to sunnier days. I love seeing students not letting the colder spring days stop them from expressing their happy vibes. This Fashionista effortlessly made a springtime outfit acceptable for one of the colder days on campus.

A green skater skirt was the standout item in this fun spring outfit. While the skirt exemplified the only pop of color in the entire outfit, it’s not hard to see why it was the first thing to catch my eye. A light striped sweater was the perfect top for a casual outfit like this one. The black and white knit pattern was trendy while still sticking with the simple theme. Due to it being on the chillier side, the Fashionista smartly decided to add black tights instead of bearing her legs to the wind. Her tall brown boots went perfect with the tights and really tied the outfit together as a whole.

This Fashionista outfit has so many bold accessories that really topped it off nicely. A long silver statement necklace was an awesome choice for jewelry. The necklace was simple enough to not distract from her clothing while still giving the look a little bit of flare. I was nothing short of obsessed with this Fashionista’s Timex watch. Her classic Ray-Ban aviators really tied together this fun spring look.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Just because the weather might not feel like spring, that doesn’t mean you can’t dress like it is! With a little altering of your look, you can still rock that awesome spring clothing even on the colder days.”
