STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Cover It Up With A Cape

Finally, spring is coming! The flowers are starting to bloom, the grass is growing and the weather is getting warmer day by day. Until the weather is warm enough for your spring and summer clothes, there are always those transition days. Transition days are when the weather is transitioning from winter to summer. These are the days where it is just not warm enough to break out your summer clothes. But, it is spring, so you do want to wear your warmer clothes.

This Fashionista had the great idea of wearing her summer halter with a cape! What a great idea. You can still wear your favorite summer shirt and cover it up with a light cape. There are so many ways that you can cover up with a cape. You can wear it off your shoulder like this Fashionista did, you can tie it or you can have it fully wrapped around yourself. To match, this Fashionista wore light black pants. They are a looser fit, which really ties into the summer look because it is noticeable to see they are lightweight. For a casual look, she threw on her favorite shoes which tie into her outfit. She is able to wear a black cape, black pants and black shoes because her cape has a tan overlay on it. This really separates the different shades of black and completes the outfit.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I would recommend playing with layers this spring! Have fun with your outfits, and wear things that are versatile and lightweight.”
