Personally, I think that the best outfits out there are the ones that immediately capture one’s eye and stand out from the crowd. There are so many ways that you can make your outfit stand out from the rest. Sometimes it’s all about styling your outfit in new creative ways, while still remaining true to your style. Some of my personal favorite ways to make my outfits stand out are by wearing a statement garment with either a fun print or a unique structure or adding a fun accessory such as fun handbag, scarf or pieces of jewelry. I think incorporating elements like these are a fun way to add a touch of glam to your look and have a rocking outfit.
A great example is this fabulous Fashionista. Her outfit really captured my attention because of the print of her blazer and how it went great with her amazing hair! Her outfit is a great example of how adding certain elements to a simple outfit help add a sprinkle of glamour to your look. The base of the outfit is her suede skater dress which was paired with some black tights and leather booties. I’m all about the head to toe all black outfit because we are in New York after all; it’s pretty much my favorite color. The suede really made the outfit a little more unique than just a regular black outfit. The key element of her look, however, is definitely this beautiful vintage Dior blazer with a fabulous floral print. The metallic color of the print really makes the dress stand out more. The polka dot bag was a nice little touch, and it didn’t take away from the print of the blazer. Finally, she added two other accessories which I loved: the pink pendant necklace that matched her gorgeous hair and a pair of Chanel glasses because there is no such thing as too much glam.
This is just one example of how to spice up an outfit, but there are so many ways to be creative and be unique. Just remember to have fun with it and never be afraid to try new things. And if you need some inspiration just look around you! You can literally get ideas from anyone and anywhere and incorporate that into your next rocking outfit!
