How to Spice Up Your Workout Routine

I know that the thought of stepping foot into the gym doesn’t appeal to everyone, most days even to me. There are so many things that you’d rather be doing: hanging out with friends, sleeping, or binge-watching Netflix. The truth is, your workout doesn’t have to be bad if you don’t make it that way!

One way I make working out more fun is to put some time into my gym outfit. The athleisure trend is in right now, and it makes your gym clothes more versatile than just what you wear to exercise. Plus, if you look good, you’ll feel good! Thinking of the gym as another place to show off your personal style will motivate you to get there, and the shopping can be fun too.

The high-waisted leggings I wore in the photos are great for your workout routine and your outfit for class. I paired them with a bright sports bra to add color, which would be great to layer under a basic tank for a more everyday look. To finish off the look, I threw on my Lululemon jacket over my outfit and paired it with my favorite black Nike sneakers. These items are essential for in and out of the gym because they’re so comfy. Other great ways to enjoy exercise are working out with a friend, trying out a new fitness class, or just getting out and enjoying the summer sun on a walk!
