As previously mentioned, Katie Leclerc and Vanessa Marano, the stars of ABC Family’s hit show, “Switched at Birth,” are CollegeFashionista’s inaugural “Fashion Influencers.”
While these ladies play fashionable characters on screen, Katie and Vanessa are Fashionistas in their own right as well. We pulled some of our favorite looks and asked Katie and Vanessa to give us some insight on how they felt about these fashion moments.

Look One: This was my first year at Teen Choice Awards and the first top fashion list I ever made. I love the draping on this dress.
Look Two: Chic and simple. Flowery too and you can’t go wrong with shorts. One less thing I have to think about!!
Look Three: This was a dress Vanessa wore in an episode of “Switched at Birth.” I thought the color was stunning and really elegant. It was also the first dress I wore on a carpet that showed my tattoo.
Look Four: I felt regal in this emerald bottom, but maybe it was just the millions of dollars’ worth of gemstones and diamonds I had on. Quite a surreal experience to have a body guard follow you around to protect the jewelry.
