FASHION FROM ABROAD: Edging into Spring

As you all probably know, the most dreaded time of the semester is rapidly approaching: finals week. Before all of the chaos of the end of the semester hits, I was able to take a little trip. If it’s not too late for you, it might be nice to take a night off before all of the madness, and go rock a new outfit you’ve been dying to wear.

Recently, I had the opportunity to go explore the beautiful city of Atlanta. I went with a fashion club at my school to visit the Atlanta Mart. It was an awesome opportunity that allowed me to see the latest fashions and meet some pretty cool trendsetters. While I was in Atlanta, I met this Fashionista whose edgy style inspired me.

If you’re looking for a cool new outfit idea to try, you can’t go wrong with this look. I love how fierce this outfit is while still being very feminine and glamorous. Sheer tops and jean skirts are two fun, staple pieces that you can’t go wrong with. Don’t even get me started with the floral embroidery—I can’t stop obsessing over how beautiful it is. The floral embroidery just takes this outfit to a whole new level and is perfect for spring.

This outfit could easily be worn during the day or night. I love how she jazzed it up with a waist synching belt, silver rings, and lace up sandals. It’s always fun to get dressed up and try out a new look. If you have the opportunity, I implore you to be bold and try out something unique! As Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs once said, “life’s too short to wear boring clothes.”
