CLASS OF 2015: Ashley

I have just turned in my last essay, and I am finished with all of my exams. I am officially done with college. It seems so surreal. I can’t believe my last four years running across this campus are coming to a close. When I first came to UW-Madison, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I planned to become a fashion designer or maybe a fashion buyer. I didn’t really care as long as it had to do with the fashion industry.

That’s when I found the Journalism department. Not only was I interested in fashion, but I was truly interested in writing about it. CollegeFashionista was the first place I was actually allowed to express my love for all things fashion. I could write about anything I wanted, from the latest runway show to the hottest campus trend, I had it covered. After studying in the Journalism school for three years, I was finally able to write about one of my favorite subjects, fashion! Although my time at CollegeFashionista was short, I truly learned how to write for a fashion publication. I know that the skills I have learned at CollegeFashionista will help me in future endeavors.

I am not sure what path I will take after graduation, but I know I will continue to write about anything I can get my hands on. I love writing about any subject, from fashion to food. Thanks to CollegeFashionista, I will continue to write about my weekly fashion finds and my favorite trends. I don’t think my week would be complete without an article showcasing my weekly finds. I will never be able to satiate my hunger for all things fashion, so I must write on!
