BEAUTY BAR: Smoke Show

Spring has sprung everyone, and so have so many fun new cosmetics! Makeup is one of my favorite ways to see how people express themselves and this year is no different. Whether it’s on the runway or on the walk to class, I love seeing the different makeup looks that people come up with, like this Fashionista!

This look is awesome for the transition from winter to spring, bring out warmer tones while still keeping it sultry. This look is one that can be worn during the day or transformed into a night look depending on your style—so versatile! Whether or not you’re super into makeup or not so much, this look is not a hard one to recreate. The darker, warmer-toned browns on the outer corner and crease bring dimension to the eye, while the lighter, gold, shimmery shades help draw attention to the eye and make it pop. The nude lip allows this look to be perfect for day and night while also leaving the attention on the eyes. Bringing the glow from within, this Fashionista uses a light highlighter on the high points of her cheekbones to catch the light and keep her face looking dewy.

To make this look your own you’ll need your favorite darker brown and gold-toned eye shadows and your favorite nude lip color. Don’t forget that highlight either, girl. Remember, makeup is completely about expressing yourself in your own way so feel free to amp up or tone down this makeup look however you please. If you want this look to go day to night, deepen the shades on the outer corner of your eye and throw on some lashes! Not into that? Then change up the lip color, add a red or deep purple. Do whatever you want to make it your own.
