BEAUTY BAR: Sizzling Ombré

I recently just got my first major haircut after years of never wanting to cut it. I always had long hair, but I wanted to make a change. A change that would make me look a little older and mature, but also edgy and bold. After months of searching for the perfect haircut, I decided to go for the lob. So many celebrities, such as Olivia Munn, Jennifer Lawrence and Lily Collins, were rocking this look. It was exactly what I have been looking for and I called in quick to make an appointment with my hairdresser. However, the haircut was not pushing the boundaries enough and I decided to dye my hair this black cherry, ombre effect. I loved it! I felt like a new person. It is crazy how much a hair color can make someone feel so brand new.

That is why when I came across this Fashionista with this funky hair color, I fell in love. Ombré is the hottest hair trend right now and there are so many colors to choose from. So why not venture out of your comfort zone and get this red to blonde ombre look. This hair color is so unique and fun! The vibrant color of the autumn red stood out to me right away. Red tones are really popular for the spring right now, which adds a little life to this dreary, rainy time of year. But the Fashionista added an ombré with blond tips, a perfect contrast with the red. The vibrant and crisp colors will have you making a statement and turning heads.

However, in order for the hair to stand out, a simple outfit will do the trick. This Fashionista kept the colors neutral with a grey and blue ensemble. These navy jeggings are muted enough to keep the focus on the hair, but still comfy and fashionable. Pair this with a black T-shirt, gray cardigan and your favorite neutral scarf for a perfect look for school. However, a brown bootie adds a little pop of color, but still stays within the realm of neutral colors.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: If you want this look, it is best to go to your hairdresser. You will need to bleach your hair to get the blonde and you do not want to damage your hair. Especially for those dark-haired ladies! Ask your hairdresser to create highlights towards the end of you hair for an ombré look. Also, to keep your color from fading, ask your hairdresser for a special shampoo and conditioner for red hair. You do not want that beautiful hair color to lose it’s brightness!
