Glasses are an often ignored element in the beauty industry. What can Fashionistas do when we have the perfect eyeshadow look but must wear eyeglasses? This is a problem I can certainly relate to. This look spoke to me because glasses can add to an outfit as opposed to taking away from it.

I have purchased multiple pairs of glasses so they would not clash with outfits (not necessarily the practical option). I’ve seen an emerging trend of celebrity and social media stars wearing fake glasses, paired with a bold lip to add a new element to their look. Don’t be afraid to treat your glasses as an accessory and rock an up do with a bold lip to make sure they get noticed.
My last tip is to add on more accessories. Play up the fact that you’re wearing cute glasses by adding a watch, as seen above. Add your favorite earrings and a necklace; show the world you aren’t afraid to accessorize! This can draw attention to your glasses and your eyes which allows you to play up the look. Glasses are something to be embraced and can supplement simple, beautiful makeup!
