The dynamic world of fashion is constantly changing and evolving at a rapid pace. Keeping up with the latest trends can be very difficult and require a variety of fashion outlets. South Moon Under eliminates this hassle as a young, unique and trendy boutique. Located on Lancaster Avenue, South Moon Under is well equipped to satisfy all of your shopping needs. With clothing, accessories, shoes, home decorations and more, South Moon Under provides customers with more than simply objects to purchase; it offers a lifestyle. I was able to speak with one of South Moon Under’s sales associates to learn more about the environment they create.

Name: Madeline Reilly

Role: Sales Associate; South Moon Under

College Fashionista: What is South Moon Under’s greatest advantage?

Madeline Reilly: At South Moon Under we really focus on the customers and making sure they get the best out of their shopping experience. Not only do we help them, but we also make friendships with them throughout the process. This makes the shopping process more enjoyable for both our customers and ourselves.

CF: What is a major trend that is currently displayed throughout your apparel and accessories?

MR: Fringe! Fringe is currently being incorporated into a variety of different fashion pieces such as sweaters and booties. One of my favorite additions of fringe is to cross-body bags. The addition of fringe adds the perfect amount of detail and makes the outfit more free-flowing and fun.

CF: What is your favorite way to accessorize an outfit?

MR: Layering necklaces is definitely my favorite way to accessorize an outfit. Mixing and matching different combinations makes an outfit more fun and interesting. I also love having a really cool pair of shoes. A great pair of shoes can add a lot to a plain outfit without overwhelming the rest of the look.
