ALL IN THE DETAILS: Yeezy Season

Who told you it was summertime? It’s Yeezy season. Thanks to Kanye West, the distressed look has gone over the top in 2016, and we clearly love it. Bleach stains and hole-y threads have never looked so cool. For those of us that haven’t quite gotten a chance to get our hands on the designer look, we create it ourselves. Vintage graphic T-shirts with rock star bands and skull heads have become the canvases for the look. Distressed denim and distressed T-shirts; if it isn’t distressed in 2016, then it isn’t in. To take street style to new levels, you must know the trends, college people!

This Fashionisto paired this custom T-shirt perfectly with solid black ripped jeans. I think it’s safe to say that with a shirt like this, you don’t need much of anything else. The Fashionisto’s black ripped jeans are also a top trend pick! If you say you don’t have at least three pairs of black ripped jeans, you are in need of a serious wardrobe check. Black jeans never go out of style, no matter the weather or temperature. They are a true wardrobe staple, and just as the T-shirts, they aren’t too hard to DIY. The Fashionisto topped off the look with a vintage baseball cap and retro Jordan 1s and threw on some gold accessories. I believe a simple piece of jewelry always does the trick.

How To: Styling distressed T-shirts can be very simple. For both men and women, a pair of jeans or shorts will do. For women, if you want to dress it up a little, throw on a pair of heels and some nice shades and take it from day to night.
