Spring is quickly approaching, and with that comes warmer weather. Here in North Carolina, the weather has been confusing. Some days it’s warm, other days it’s cold. And then we have the confusing cold in the morning while warm in the afternoon. This causes it to be a little harder to pick the perfect outfit. It looks like the warmer weather is here to stay, though, just before spring break!
This Fashionista decided to take a step outside of her comfort zone and spice up her look with this black and white patterned dress. If you’re wanting to try out new patterns, but afraid that you’re going to look a little silly, take this Fashionista’s tip of starting out with a simple black and white pattern.This Fashionista didn’t want to have her look be too over the top, so she paired some simple Alex and Ani bangles with the look and some white sandals.  Since this is a houndstooth-esque pattern, it’s not too intimidating. Or dive head first in a floral dress, an ornate dress or even a tie-dye dress!
Whatever style of dress you decide to pick, make sure to rock it with confidence! No matter what pattern you wear, you’ll stand out for sure. Confidence goes hand in hand with patterned clothing.
How To: Spring is the perfect time to start testing the waters with new patterns. The only thing you want to make certain of is that you’re not overdoing it with other aspects in your outfit. Make sure to keep your accessories to a minimum! Simple silver or gold jewelry and solid colored shoes will go perfectly.
