ALL IN THE DETAILS: The Turban Games

Whenever we think of fall, we think of cool and crisp weather with just the right amount of sunshine, but this year the weather has taken a turn. Although it’s just the end of October, the weather has already started to get incredibly cold. The transition from summer to fall has not been an easy one. People are already starting to pack on the layers and throw on their boots. Then, in the middle of that cold week, a miracle happens, and the weather does a 180 and the sun and warmth come back. So then the real struggle comes along, of what do you wear when the weather is not extremely hot, not extremely cold but you still want to rock your fall fashion before winter and snow rolls around?

This Fashionista shows us how to rock a turban for when the weather is feeling a bit bipolar. Instead of wearing a fuzzy snow hat or a hoodie to keep your head warm, why not wear a turban? It’s a stylish way to keep your head warm without getting too hot and it’s a fun and easy way to dress up a simple outfit. It can be used to add a pop of color to your outfit or add some texture/patterns to it instead. Plus, turbans are so versatile and can be styled in different ways! Whether you want to rock the “Professor Quirrell” look and have people question if Voldemort is hiding underneath, or a runway-inspired turban, like Missoni’s chic turbans. Just make sure when wrapping your turban that it is not too big or too small, but cozily fits on your head. If you don’t wanna deal with the hassle of wrapping a scarf, go for a slip-on turban. If you’re still not feeling that adventurous, a turban hat is perfect for you.

This Fashionista, completes her look with a pair of brown boots, black pants, a light pink shirt and a floral, flowy cardigan. Although her cardigan is patterned, the stark blue of her turban, allows it to be the focal point of her outfit.

How To: Have you ever wanted to introduce a new stylish way to keep your head warm? Well a turban is a fun and chic way to do so. Just find a sturdy material scarf with a bright color to make it the focal point of your look.
