ALL IN THE DETAILS: Stay Golden, Fashionistas

Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize. Sometimes, the simplest way to look your best is by adding subtle accessories here or there. Of course, you don’t want to overdo it when it comes to accessorizing; don’t be the one with rings on every finger or too many bracelets stacked on your forearm. You’ve heard it before, and I’m here to remind you of Coco Chanel’s infamous quote, “Once you’ve dressed, and before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off.”

When it comes to this Fashionista’s accessories, she chose the right amount. Her entire look was effortless for going to class, running errands or hanging out with friends on a beautiful spring day. The light, neutral colors of her shirt, sweater and boots were perfectly balanced out by her simple, gold accessories. The delicate bracelets, personalized necklaces and unique rings were all additions that enhanced her overall look without making a loud statement. She kept it casual by opting out of wearing earrings, which could have easily thrown off the balance of the look. She stacked two thick banded rings on one hand, while evening it out with a thin banded statement ring on her other hand. The elegant cuff bracelet on one wrist was kept casual by the two colorfully beaded bracelets on one wrist. Her personalized necklaces were small and simple, but she layered them to show off the different designs on each.

Accessorizing is all about choosing the right pieces to complement the rest of the ensemble and can make the vibe of an outfit totally different. Jewelry is definitely a way of accessorizing that makes a statement, depending on what you wear and how you wear it. Our Fashionista put her own personality into the accessories that she chose, which makes a statement in a unique way.

How To: This look can be easily recreated and personalized for anybody. You can find interesting jewelry anywhere. It’s even more unique if you can find an accessory that means something to you because you will be more inclined to wear it. Lastly, decide on whether you want to go with gold accessories or silver accessories for each of your looks.
