Spring is in full swing here in Minneapolis. We have already experienced our first 70-degree day and it’s only March, which is a rarity in the Midwest. But this means that Fashionista/os alike are gearing up for the warmer weather by breaking out fresh, bright and lightweight pieces that have been tucked away all winter long.

When I spotted this Fashionista rocking an olive green ensemble, I couldn’t look away. Olive green is super in right now, and many looks in past runway shows paired various pieces of this color together, something this Fashionista nailed. By pairing slightly different shades of olive green together, her look is chic and fashionable without looking overly matchy. She offsets that green hues in her look by wearing black pointed loafers and a black briefcase-inspired bag.

But that’s not all. Her look would not have had the same amount of pizzazz without her bold, bright red lips and her mirrored sunglasses. The reflections on her sunglasses make them mesmerizing to look at and add some fun pops of color to the outfit, depending on where the sun is shining and the backdrop that reflects off of her lenses.

Simple, chic yet still super fashion-forward and on-trend, this Fashionista is ready to spring into spring! So make sure to take some risks and pair pieces of a similar color together.

How To: It’s super simple to recreate this look. Find a pair of olive green pants, and then pair it with a slightly lighter or darker top. Whether it’s a flowly blouse like this Fashionista is wearing or a turtleneck sweater, you are sure to stand out in your springtime fashion!
